چکیده
In this paper, Japan Meteorological Agency (JRA-55) reanalysis and observational rainfall datasets from the National Climate Center (NCC) of China, as well satellite Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM), Global Precipitation Climatology Project (GPCP), International Satellite Cloud (ISCCP), are used. The correlation coefficient fast Fourier transform (FFT) low-pass filter also used, in order to reveal interdecadal decrease autumn Southeast China (SEC) after 1990. close robust relationship between variation SEC sea surface temperature (SST) tropical Pacific is investigated. most significant stable region located 10° S–10° N, 160° E–160° W, which there exists warming Furthermore, SST can induce Gill responses atmosphere: a cyclone anomaly produced on each side equator lower troposphere, with westerly west dateline, an anticyclone upper troposphere. particular, northern Northwest (NWP), its ambient northerly airflow weakens meridional water vapor transport, local descending motion low-troposphere divergence, favor addition, sensitive experiments ECHAM-5.4 model confirm that (10° W) would motivate atmospheric response thereby cause sinking support SEC.

متن کاملPacific Interdecadal Climate Variability: Linkages between the Tropics and the North Pacific during Boreal Winter since 1900
This study examines the tropical linkages to interdecadal climate fluctuations over the North Pacific during boreal winter through a comprehensive and physically based analysis of a wide variety of observational datasets spanning the twentieth century. Simple difference maps between epochs of high sea level pressure over the North Pacific (1900–24 and 1947–76) and epochs of low pressure (1925–4...
متن کاملInterannual and Interdecadal Variations of the East Asian Summer Monsoon and Tropical Pacific SSTs. Part II: Meridional Structure of the Monsoon
The relationship between the interannual variations of the East Asian summer monsoon and that of the tropical SST shows considerable variations. In this study, rainfall in the southeastern coastal area of China (SEC) during 1951–96 is used to composite the tropical SST, 850-hPa wind, and 500-hPa height. The results relative to the May–June rainfall, which represents most of the SEC summer monso...
متن کاملSensitivity of South American summer rainfall to tropical Pacific Ocean SST anomalies
[1] A suite of idealised ensemble experiments are used to investigate the sensitivity of the Southern Hemisphere atmospheric circulation to the location of SST anomalies over the tropical Pacific Ocean. Of particular interest is the response of South American rainfall during austral summer. The experiments reveal an approximately opposite response in rainfall over South America when the tropica...
